Dagmar Ottevangers (1973)
About me:
In 2005, while working for a large IT firm in the Netherlands, I had the opportunity to work in Brussels for a period of 8 months in 2005.
And after falling in love with this city instantaneously, I decided to permanently relocate myself and my two cats here in the beginning of 2007, and I have not regretted it for one single second.
I now work as a deputy project director for another large IT firm in an international project for the European Commission.
Why Brussels?
- Lost my heart to this scarred, vulnerable yet so beautiful and buzzing city.
- The multitude of nationalities here have an intoxicating effect. It makes Brussels extremely easy going. Just ask “where are you from?”. Interesting conversation guaranteed.
- Great restaurants and bars, usually serving a wide variety of Belgian beers ;-)
